New Years 2011

Our annual New Years with friends.....as you can see it was unusually warm weather. Our plans
of playing in the snow, sledding, and ice skating didn't exactly work out. We did get out
for some fresh air on the bike trail though. Lots of fun was had by all.....staying up late playing games, watching movies and football, and just catching up. We don't get to see them very often so we
look forward to this yearly time together.

The boys and Izzy made us very proud at their music concert
this week. They did a wonderful job singing and playing their
recorders....Not to mention how cute they looked in their dress
clothes.

We went to a "Journey to Bethlehem" interactive nativity
at a small local church. It was well done...took us on a
journey to Bethlehem for the Jewish census. We encountered
shepherds, robbers, etc., and of course Baby Jesus.
After the "tour" kids got to spend their sheckel at
the marketplace on food or trinkets. Izzy didn't want any
food or candy just yarn and material...crafty girl.

No Training Wheels!

Who would've thought that Izzy
would learn to ride without
training wheels in the winter?
Well, she did. She is doing
great getting better everytime.

Making a Snowman

Reed spent some time making
a snowman with Izzy and Ethan
on Sunday afternoon.
Hunter made his own creation.
Might as well make the best
of all this snow and seemingly
endless winter. I am ready for
some warm weather and sunshine
though!

Christmas in January

Since Reed's dad and his wife were
in Florida over Christmas we just
celebrated this last weekend.
It was fun. The kids were able to
play games and swim all day.

The kids got wetsuits..no more freezing
at the lake in June.
