Izzy went to Safety City last week....
She learned lots of things like how
to cross the street. Here she is at

Pretty in Blue!

Isabel was in a horse show on Sunday. She did great...got 2nd place out of 11 kids. She won
$13.75 and a kids meal at Applebees. When asked what she was going to do with her money, she said,
"I'm going to buy some candy!" She just missed the big trophy, but hey, it's just for fun, right?

Isabel got to have a very special 5th birthday party with
her friends. All the girls were so cute and we had a
wonderful time.

Cedar Point!!

 
On Tuesday we went to Cedar Point...
it was the kids' first time. We had a good
day despite about 4 hours of afternoon
rain. Hunter and Ethan were pretty
brave and rode the Magnum. Izzy loved
the Snoopy area and the two coasters
there-Jr. Gemini and Woodstock Express.

We had a really great 4th of July weekend....filled with lots of
sun and fun-mostly swimming and boating!
We spent the evening of the 4th at Aunt Gail and Uncle Kirk's
house. There was no shortage of fireworks....the whole neighborhood
seemed to be shooting them off. The kids played with their cousins--
volleyball, skateboarding, etc...& of course, running around with
sparklers..... until the "official" fireworks display.
Finally we can watch them as a family and no one is scared to death!
They're growing up fast...

Ethan and Hunter learned to dive this year in
swimming lessons....here they are showing off
their new skill
