Field trip to Carruth

We went on a tour of George Carruth studios
to see how the art/sculptures are made. It
was so interesting to hear the artist story and
see the process.

Little Eden

Make a Smilebox scrapbook

Had a great time with the family at Little Eden.
It is so nice to have time to do nothing! Can't
believe it has come and gone so quickly. Kids had
a great time. They were constantly in motion, dirty,
and loved playing with all their cousins.
The boys still love to play in the creek (ugh) and enjoy lots
of freedom around camp. They also liked to go fishing and go out
in the kayaks and paddle boats. Isabel really enjoyed
playing with Lydia and Natalie. She could usually be found in
one of three places....the RV, the park or the craft
shop. The weather was pretty nice...sometimes a little
windy but that gave Reed and I a great time on the
sailboat one day. We also got to enjoy Lake Michigan
...my favortie part is just sitting on the beach
listening to and watching the waves.
The snack shop was also very popular with the kids,
especially the ice cream. Izzy had a loose tooth and
by mid week she had gotten it out so that she could get
tooth fairy money to buy airheads at the snack shop.
