Creation Museum

We had a wonderful time at the Creation Museum. Kids
loved the dinosaurs and just soaked up all the information.
It was a beautiful day...perfect for our lunch outside and
walking through the gardens. It was so pretty and not
everything was even in bloom yet...can't imagine how pretty
it is in the summer. The kids really liked the rope bridge
and the petting zoo too. I actually petted a camel for the
first time. Unfortunately Izzy was not too happy with the
potbelly pig, he snipped at her leg while she was petting him.

It's been awhile

Sorry, Haven't posted lately.
Combination of reasons....been
pretty busy with soccer,
trying to finish up the school
year, and also my digital camera is
broken. I accidently dropped it
on the kitchen floor and now it
will not turn on. Oh, and our
microwave broke too. So my meal
preparation is taking longer
than usual and we are window shopping
for appliances! Just can't keep up
right now!

Tea Party!

Izzy and I had a girls' day on Saturday.
We went to a tea lunch at Clara J's tea
house with her friend and her mom.
The girls loved it...they were so cute
sipping their tea and giggling. Izzy liked
her pear tea especially putting in the sugar cubes.
She also enjoyed a lunch with macaroni and
cheese which included lots of fun goodies
(see below). We finished off the day with
shopping and an ice cream treat. So fun!

Baby miniature horse

We went out to Grandma's to see the
new 4 day old miniature horse. Izzy
had lots of fun watching and learning
about "Scooter"

First Catch

This is the first fish caught our of our pond
since we have lived here....the way they are
smiling you would think that the kids caught it
but Reed actually did. I guess they were still
pretty proud.
